Commentary by Don:  JOY is found in Jesus NOT attending a convention and joining a religion.

1 Thessalonians 2:19 - "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?"

John 15:11 - “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”

Nehemiah 8:10 - “Then  he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and  send  portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is  holy to  our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your  strength.”

Psalm 16:11 - “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Philippians 4:4 - “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!”

Revelation 21:4  - "And  God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no  more  death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the   former things have passed away."

These  events create an abundant group of JW's to which we can witness about  Jesus saving love, to plant a seed to help deliver them...

John 3:16-17 - "For  God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever  believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
