Commentary by Admin:
Meetings between various different faiths in the promotion of of 'UNITY' and understanding is what can commonly be referred to as ecumenism.
By definition modern 'Ecumenism' is moving toward a 'One World Religion'. In the Book of Revelation, the Apostle John provides a clear picture of a future global religious system, symbolized as "Mystery Babylon" Revelation 17:1-5. This system is definitely a form of spiritual adultery, in which the world turns from the worship of the one true God and follows after false gods and deceptive teachings. The Bible describes this system as being led by the False Prophet, who will deceive the nations into worshiping the Beast. This one-world religious system will be a tool of the Antichrist to consolidate power and demand allegiance from ALL people! Revelation 13:11-15.
My personal view is that ANY church referring to itself as 'Christian' must adhere to the Word of God (The Holy Bible) and must definitely ascribe to following the teachings of Jesus Christ! Very clear and absolutely 'Exclusive' Word of God.... NO room for Confusion
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Matthew 14:6 NKJV
