I do street evangelism every Thursday in Utah, and so regularly speak with members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over the past decade, I've discovered a number of Bible verses that I keep coming back to in my conversations and evangelism with Mormons.
For those wanting to get into evangelistic conversations with Mormons, I'd recommend asking lots of clarifying questions, being slow to speak and quick to listen, and correcting your opponents *with gentleness*" (as Paul writes to Timothy). Always go back to Scripture and make God's Word the bedrock of your interactions. Find the verses that you most enjoy and delight in speaking about, and simply walk through what God has revealed. If Scripture is able to make us "wise unto salvation" – we should use it!
These verses are texts that I personally have loved using, but everyone develops their own go-to texts. Regardless of which verses you go to — remember that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes. Don't neglect the Gospel, go back to it, delight in it, and show the freedom that can come with trusting in the Gospel of Grace.
