Why "Baptism for the Dead" is NOT a Christian Practice

Can we find Mormonism's practice of proxy works anywhere in the Bible?
Here's what the Bible says, "Otherwise, what do people mean by being baptised on behalf of the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptised on their behalf?" (1 Corinthians 15:29).
What did Paul mean in this verse? Should Christians be performing baptisms for those who have died? We don't think so, and are going to explain in this video why the Mormon practice of proxy baptism is actually unbiblical.
When we consider what the Bible teaches, we need to substantially consider what the text is and is not saying. Just because a practice is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:29 does not mean that Christians are commanded to do that practice.
