Chris gives a great example of how separating yourself from a bias in order to apply logical scientific method can have amazing results. He's come to the conclusion that the information he's been taught all his life as a Mormon is all a lie, when you critically examine the "facts" that the LDS church teaches it's members.
People like Chris have the courage to examine and challenge LDS leadership critically, but unfortunately don't end up taking the next step into finding out that there really is a God out there that loves you. And that the same scientific method can be applied to the Bible, showing you don't need any special relation from a prophet or secret information not publicly available.

The Bible plainly states that the gospel, with its inclusion of Gentiles, was not fully revealed until after Christ's death.
Eph. 3:3-7 Paul writes "by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: whereof I was made a minister ...... (See also Col. 1:26; 1 Peter 1: 1-12; Romans 16:25-26)

This is such a great example of how you can be firm in your faith and lovingly point out the error in someone else's believes. Done with a heart for the lost in love. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
I hope to break down this video with the points and references he used to converse with this LDS member in the very near future, stay tuned.

This is an extremely shocking video of how the LDS Church encourages members to contact church authorities and a hotline – not the police
The LDS church takes in 10 billion a year in tithing and has their own paedophile hot line that goes directly to LDS lawyers.

Watch the compelling story of Lindsay Davis who defected from Bethel. An exclusive from Apologia Studios & is from the popular show, "Cultish". This episode of Cultish, Jeff Durbin & Jeremiah Roberts interview about her time at Bethel. The story is shocking in many ways and needs to be heard.
God is not bound by our ability to keep covenants, baptising for our dead relatives, or becoming worthy for a temple recommend. God is speaking about being bound by his own holy nature. HIS name sake.
Why the change from LDS.org and Mormon.org to ChurchofJesusChrist.org?
The times are a changing.
"Over these many centuries, details associated with temple work have been adjusted periodically, including language, methods of construction, communication, and record-keeping. Prophets have taught that there will be no end to such adjustments as directed by the Lord to His servants." - 2 January 2019 - Salt Lake City Official Statement
This quote pretty much sums up that the LDS church is going to make changes to their beliefs as society dictates to stay relevant to the predominantly socially accepted standard of the time.
However there's a problem with this statement,

"We're on a mission to discover whether Mormons are Christian"
At first I thought "Hold on, I believe that too, but Mormon's can't be Christians, can they?"
And on the onset, it appears that we've got some common ground here. I mean, I believe in Christ, his teachings, his example and I would also agree that genuine following of Christ will also emulate his pattern of living.
So what's the big deal?

LDS Church opened a splendid temple in Rome & you can go on a tour of their most sacred areas. Listen closely you’ll see their emphasis isn’t on Jesus.
