Let me be clear, this old teaching is repugnant and disgusting. The LDS Church claims that it has received a new divine revelation and that people with dark skin are acceptable to God and can attain the priesthood. So does that mean that Joseph Smith had it wrong before? He's supposed to be God's mouthpiece, the Book of Mormon is supposed to be the most correct revelation that God has ever given man. Why the changes then?

Mormons CLAIM the Book of Abraham was derived from an ancient hieroglyphic document that Joseph Smith translated in 1835-1842 that was supposedly the personal work of the Biblical Abraham while in Egypt.

Let's just ponder this for a second. To even question the motives or the actions of the appointed head of the church automatically puts you in God's bad graces?

I haven’t been to the LDS Nativity Pageant in Calgary for many years but thought I should take it in after the notice that these events may come to a close after 2019.

What struck me the most was the brevity of the production – it couldn’t have been more than 15 minutes long. Also, they had bleachers and hay bales to accommodate about 500 faithful at each sitting.
As usual, the Mormon Church spared no expense in putting out a grade A production with a donkey, sheep, and three llamas that imitated camels. The costumes, sound system, parking attendants, and actors were as best as one could imagine from volunteers.
