Former LDS meetinghouse repurposed as Hindu Temple!

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Utah’s newest Hindu temple in Kearns was once a Latter-day Saint meetinghouse.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Mandir celebrated its grand opening ceremony in Kearns. BAPS, a socio-spiritual group within the Hindu faith, lead the celebration under the direction of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj.

Utah Haunted House ranked as America’s most innovative attractions!!

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — An industry group has just named Salt Lake City’s Nightmare on 13th one of America’s most innovative haunted attractions ahead of the 2025 season.

Nightmare on 13th is Utah’s longest running indoor haunted house, entering its 36th season this year. America Haunts, a haunted attraction industry group, has named Nightmare on 13th the fourth most innovative haunted attraction in the United States.

Women of the LDS Church are tickled pink with the lastest iteration of the Mormon "Magic Underwear," officially known as temple garments, they are sacred undergarments worn by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after participating in the endowment ceremony. According to the Mormon Church they serve as a reminder of covenants made with God and are believed to provide spiritual protection.
